When my mother was dying, she asked me to care for him. I stepped in, ran up thousands in veterinary bills trying to save him, and for 92 days I fought for his life. Just when I thought we were turning a corner, a hidden heart condition took him. I had Boo for exactly 92 days. This company carries his name. Doctor Trouble — the face of Legacy Furmula™ — is dedicated to him and his hip dysplasia. I wish I created this before he passed.Then there was Awhna and Trouble — my own dogs. Awhna suffocated in her own fluids as I held her in my arms, just before she turned 13, from tumors that weren't discovered until it was too late. Trouble suffered through hip dysplasia and renal kidney failure until there was nothing left to do. Both losses devastated me.And both made me ask the same question: Could better nutrition have changed their outcome?That question led me down a path I couldn't turn back from. I discovered an industry full of hidden ingredients, proprietary blends that obscure what's actually in the bottle, and white-label products prioritizing cost over care. I interviewed six manufacturers before finding one who wouldn't change my formula or substitute my ingredients. I refused every shortcut.
