In 2019, I began creating my own formulas with one mission: to find something better for my pets. Too many of my pets—and the pets of family and friends—were getting sick with stomach issues, cancer, kidney disease, and other devastating conditions.I discovered something that broke my trust in the pet industry: many of the brands we believed were “the best” were actually filled with toxic ingredients, including artificial dyes like red, yellow, and blue—known to cause cancer. I had assumed that if it was expensive, it had to be healthy. I was wrong."Beware the 4 D’s on the labels: Dead, Dying, Diseased, Disabled — the hidden meats in supposed "quality" pet foods your furry friend should never eat. (that's appalling they sneak these in our babies food!)That moment became my turning point. If I couldn’t find safe, truly healthy products for my pets, I would make them myself. Every ingredient in my “Furmulas” is there for a purpose, and if it’s not healthy, it’s not included.This mission became deeply personal when I inherited Boo, a 12½-year-old family cat. Boo came to me in poor health—severe dental disease, a hidden heart condition—and needed immediate surgery to remove 14 teeth. I thought we’d made it through the worst, but just three weeks later, a hidden blood clot left him paralyzed. In unbearable pain, Boo had to be put to sleep.I only had him for 92 days.Those 92 days changed everything. They became the heartbeat of this company—named in Boo’s honor and in remembrance of every pet who inspired me to create a healthier way of living for our furry family members.No more waiting.
